Week7 Summary
For this week we touch on implementing light source to our robot and material. This not only makes our whole robot lights up it also gave it slightly reality look.
This week it is not really tough, for me it is a pretty straight forward practical. We just need to add on light to our previous week robot and it will be perfect.
I alter a bit with the ambient, specular, diffuse and position for different lighting look.
So by the end of 2 hr this is my final product!
So this is it again i make it with lighting. You can see it that ths colour stands out a bit more than the previous week.I make out 4 robots to make it look as if it is pedestrian walking!

Week 5 Summary
We also learn Matrix Stack using "push and pop"to add and remove element from the stack. It took me a while to fully understand to be exact 3 whole days.
Then during the practical Miss Tan wants us to try out doing a 3D cube first before trying out the solar system. It is really the toughest ever in ComG i totally have no idea on how to start but to start out with a sphere.
I just finally with some help from friends manage to make the solar system rotate.
This is the final product of week 5 practical:
And that's all for week 5!

Summary of Week 4
But when i finally do and try what she taught us in the lecture during practical, everything came alive. It was not really that hard to understand it is almost like last weeks practical lesson just that it takes more thinking and drawing on paper.Last week we touch on 2 different coordinates to design our 2D shapes but this week is 3 coordinates.
With an extra Z it does really make a difference in the whole thing.I have to estimate more where the rectangle is going to end up on the program screen.
Then later we have to code more then 6 time for each side of the rectangle to let it to look 3D.It was a really tedious job.But still managed to done it after much effort.Although it does not look nice. The following screen shots is the product of week 4 practical.
This is it then!

Summary of Week 2
Computer Graphics Practical 2
Ans:It is a function for us able to add it to any main() function and to be able to be used. Thus,we can use any function just by calling it.
Question 2 - When exactly is myDisplay()called? How do you get to your findings?
Ans:I got to it when i am going to enter this line of code "glutPostRedisplay();".It is actual name is called glutPostRedisplay(myDisplay).
Question 3 – List the process to access the VRAM.
Ans:1)We must first declare a struct type that we can used to represent a pixel on a screen.
2)Then we manipulate and allocate the memory space
3)Then we copy the content to the double buffer and openGL will handle the rest for us.
Question 4 - What color format are we using here i.e. 8 bits, 16 bits, 24 bits or 32 bits?
Ans:8 bits
Question 5 - How much memory have we allocated?
Ans:480,000 bytes
Question 6 – Describe what has glDrawPixel() done.
Ans:It can defined the size of the area that the pixel can draw on.

Summary of Week 1
Without this lesson i never knew that Com Graphic actually have this much of history. But as the lesson goes on in the one hour lecture i found out that what we learn in that lesson is rather familiar. More or less like Digital Entertainment System one of the module in Sem 1. Then in the Lab we did some review on games that we like and played before, with this i found out much much more details about games that i have played before.
The past week may not have learn many in depth stuff but it gave us more idea on what we going to do or how to do things in the fore coming Com Graphics lesson.

My Game Review
Game Title: Monster Kingdom Jewel Summoner
Platform of Game: PSP Game
Genre: RPG
Product Model Year: Winter 2005
Developer: Altus/Sony Computer Entertainment
Game Requirement: Only PSP
Game Description
Monster Kingdom is an RPG game with a fantasy setting, Monster Kingdom focuses on monster collection and battles. The Player will play as Vice (the main character of the whole story), a Jewel Summoner. Jewel Summoners are people who can summon monsters that have been changed into jewel form. While Vice never underwent the training required to become a Jewel Summoner, he did inherit a charm from his mother which gave him the summoning abilities. Vice heads off on a quest to find Shenah, the killer of his mother.
Vices some support characters at his side. He travels alongside a monster, Shateen, whose name is German for shadow. There will be 4 different characters for Vice to choose who he wants to be in his team.
The four is Bargus-Calm and steady; also the most sensible of the 4.There is also a twist in his character plot later on in the game.
Lynn is mature and smart also able to occasionally predict the future.
Grey-Hot headed and Proud also the son of the Head of State.
Elycia-Spoiled and noisy but full of passion.
The greatest part of this story that attracts me is the many different storyline to this game all depends on what you during the game intercourse. Different choice will change the game the other way round, which means that you can replay the game many times to have different scenario.
The battles are interesting in that the player's party has three characters and each one can summon one of their three monsters at a time. In each battle, the party faces one to three monsters at a time. The health bar belongs to the character, but the magic bar belongs to the summoned monster so swapping monsters mid-fight helps to give an extra bit of juice, even if you lose a turn in the process. The extra twist is that each monster belongs to one of eight elements to create battles strongly influenced by a rock-paper-scissors scenario.
The elements are broken down into two main groups: light and dark. Light gets the more ethereal elements of fire, wind, and thunder while the dark group gets the more solid elements: water, earth, and ice. Fire beats ice, ice beats wind, wind beats earth, and so on until the loop closes up with water beating fire. Monsters can also be the light or dark element itself. Mastering these elements can be the difference of a drawn-out battle versus a short one or between defeating a boss and not having a hope in the world.
Graphic
There is difference in Graphic during walking, battle or conversation.
Here is below is some brief different graphic in between during the game.
Sound Quality
What sets Jewel Summoner apart is its presentation, which includes a distinctive take on the voices, music, graphics, and the battle system. Well over 90% of the dialogue has been done by talented actors and the music is pretty good. Each of the characters also gets nice, crisp art for the conversational scenes.

Conclusion
This game to me i feel that is like Pokemon and Final Fantasy. If this game is been played by any experience gamer it will be rather easy for them to complete. But the different diversity of the Game play of this game largely enhanced the urged to play this game.
But if more could be done to the lengthy conversation and make it more battles this will make the game to a near perfect game.
However overall this game is relatively good based on its graphic and voice it sure have a mold of a great game.
